Open Evening
Our next Open Evening event will take place on Thursday 18 September 2025. Booking is not required for this event.
The school will open at 4.15pm and departments will close at 7.00pm. Visitors can enter through the Main School or Sixth Form entrance. We recommend visitors allow plenty of time for their visit, as every year we find that visitors who arrive after 6pm do not have enough time to visit all the departments. Parking spaces are limited in the main school car park.
The timings for the evening are as follows (talks are optional, and a recording will also be available on the website after the event):
- 4.15pm - School opens to prospective students and parents
- *5.30pm - First ‘Introduction to Little Heath School’ talk in Main Hall
- 7.00pm - Second ‘Introduction to Little Heath School’ talk in Main Hall / departments close
*Please note: The 5.30pm talk can get very busy and the Hall has a limited capacity for safety reasons. If attendance exceeds this number, we may need to turn people away and kindly ask them to attend the 7.00pm session or watch the event online. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.
Open Morning Tours
Open Morning tour dates for the September 2026 intake are as follows:

- Wednesday 1 October 2025
- Monday 6 October 2025
September/October dates are currently not available to book. The booking system for the autumn dates will open on Monday 8 September at 8pm. Please revisit the website for the booking link, and follow us on social media for reminders.
Places are limited to 40 people per tour. All places on the tour must be booked in advance.

Applying for a place at Little Heath School
You will need to apply for a secondary school place through your local authority. Applications can be made from 1 September until 31 October. Details for West Berkshire Council and Reading Borough Council are below:

Please note: Ensure you use the advanced search and select 'West Berkshire' and Little Heath will appear on the list of schools to select.
Only West Berkshire residents can make an application on the West Berkshire form so make sure the correct form is completed for your local authority or it won’t be accepted.
Admissions for Little Heath School are managed by West Berkshire Council. You will be notified of the outcome of your application on 1 March.
