Morgan Stanley: Degree Apprenticeship
This Technology Apprenticeship offered in London combines on-the-job training alongside a part
time degree. This Apprenticeship programme is for those pupils with a technology-focused career
path in mind, and want to learn whilst earning at the same time. The duration of the apprenticeship is four years, with vast prospects for advancement. During the apprenticeship, you will rotate into
different areas of the Technology Division, in order to fulfil both your degree requirements and to
ensure you have a well-rounded experience.

Pathways to Property – Y12
Pathways to Property is a charitable programme run by Henley Business School that’s designed to raise awareness about the vast range of careers available within the Real Estate industy.
Applications for Year 12 students are now open for our March 2024 Insight Days in Birmingham, Cambridge and Bristol and for our Summer school, which is based on our campus at the University of Reading on 2nd-5th July 2024. Applications for our Insight Days close in 2 weeks on 15th February.
These are fully funded one day events for Year 12 students who have an interest in the property sector and would like to learn more about the Industry. The day will be attended by both industry volunteers and current Real Estate students. Students travel costs will be covered and a busy day of activities will follow including:
• Going on a site visit
• Working on a small project
• Attending a Q&A session

I’m delighted to inform you that we have just opened applications for our 2024 Virtual Insight programme. Open to Year 11 and 12 (in England and Wales, Year 12 and 13 in Northern Ireland, S4-S5 in Scotland) students, the 3-day experience is designed to give students an insight into PwC: our lines of service, our culture, the work we do and how they can join us as a school leaver. They’ll have the opportunity to engage with our people and ask their questions so that they can make informed decisions about their next steps. They’ll receive guidance and top tips on the application process, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in the workplace.

Medicine & Veterinary Medicine Event – Save the date 7th March 2024

Please find attached a 'save the date' poster for our medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry or physiotherapy event open to students in Year 10 to Year 13. St Helen and St Katharine are hosting the event on Thursday 7 March 2024 from 6pm - 8.40pm. Students can come along independently/with family.
We have run this event since 2016 and it is always immensely popular. This year we have added physiotherapy and dentistry so anticipate even higher numbers. We will send the link to book places along with posters for you to share with your students on Monday 5 February.

Pelican Programme: Physical Sciences
Corpus will be trialling a new initiative this coming year for female students who are interested in applying for the physical sciences here in Cambridge. Similar to the other Pelican Programme streams, there will be fortnightly online sessions in small groups with a subject leader, as well as the usual admissions support that offer on all of our programmes and the chance to be part of the Pelican Celebration residential at the end of June. These sessions will start in March.
To be eligible students must be:
- A woman In Y12 (Y13/S5 in NI/Scotland) and at UK maintained school
- Be studying Maths, Further Maths (if offered at school), Chemistry and/or Physics
- Be predicted/on course for A*A*A

Medieval Worlds: Manuscripts, Texts, and Film – 9-10 April
For students thinking of studying English, History, or Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic and who are interested in exploring medieval society and culture. This residential gives students the chance to work with medieval manuscripts through using the resources of our Parker Library and there will be workshops led by University of Cambridge subject specialists, covering narrower themes and topics relating to the further study of the medieval aspects of History, English and Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic.
To be eligible students must be:
- In Y12 (Y13/S5 in NI/Scotland) and at a UK maintained school
- Studying English Literature and/or History at A-level
- Predicted/on course for A*AA

Women in Science Festival
An annual event run by Robinson College, Cambridge, designed to inspire and encourage young women and non-binary students to pursue scientific study at university. The 2024 Festival will be held at Robinson College as a residential event from the afternoon of Monday 8th April to the afternoon of Tuesday 9th April. The event will involve talks and sessions delivered by members of our science community here at Robinson, alongside admissions information and exploration of the College, the city centre, and the city's science museums. Attendees are also invited to take part in a Science Fair, which gives them the opportunity to produce and present their own academic poster.

UCFB Women in Sport Scholarship
This scholarship is open to 2 outstanding female applicants who are eager to develop a career in the sports industry. This scholarship is awarded to 2 students to acknowledge the sporting achievements of applicants who have competed in any sport within the past two years, within their relevant age group.
